From June 19th-23rd, over 500 disabled American heroes will converge in Milwaukee to test their agility, athleticism and strength of spirit in the 27th National Veterans Wheelchair Games. This special event is presented each year by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and the Paralyzed Veterans of America, with additional support from numerous corporate and community sponsors.
Competing in this event are 571 veterans with disabilities or mobility impairments, including 28 veterans of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom.

Events will take place at the Midwest Airlines Convention Center, Greendale High School, Grant Park, Whitnall Park, Schroeder YMCA Aquatic Center, AMF Bowlero Bowling Center, Milwaukee County Zoo and Veterans Park.
