Okay, I know I'm the only person in America watching the "Celebrity Apprentice" on NBC. But I must share with all of you the good news: Gene Simmons (yes, the KISS guy) was fired by the Donald this week. I think the Donald was infuriated at finding someone actually as arrogant as himself! Even after the task (selling Kodak printers) was complete and his team lost, he refused to admit he had lost. He just said the clients were wrong.
Does anyone really think he's sexy today? He carries himself like he is a sex symbol. I don't find him appealing at all.
Just FYI, most of the other candidates are either rising stars or fading...no one really big. Stephen Baldwin is one of the contestants, so brother Alec stopped by in this week's episode to buy a few printers. Nadio Commenci (I hope I've spelled that correctly) was fired last week. I know most of you don't remember her, but she's the little pixie gymnast that captured America's heart in the 1976 Olympics. The first week, I didn't know the girl that was fired. She was a former playmate of the year. The teams were charged with selling hot dogs for charity. She did not call Hugh Hefner and ask him to buy one. Of course, the Donald thought he would have bought one for a $1 million.
I don't like this format very much and I'm not sure if I'll keep watching it. The celebrities' tasks are fairly minimal and most of their success relies on the fact that they are celebrities. This was one of my favorite shows when it was the regular apprentice. I enjoyed the competition and seeing how the contestants developed and used their different experiences and knowledge. Of course, like I said earlier, I'm the only fan of The Apprentice left in America. Oh well....

I do appreciate the update as to who was fired and why sinc eit is intresting. I just can't watch it.
No, Gene Simmons is so not sexy. He's gross.
I watch the show and find it entertaining. Have you noticed that Stephen Baldwin always seems to be the ring leader of the men's team? He is always the one organizing, even when he isn't the project manager.
I do watch Celebrity Rehab for some reason...lol. It's 'Daniel Baldwin' on that show. I think he's the oldest Baldwin who's a big, arrogant addict, but hey, that's what keeps him on tv I suppose. At least Dr. Drew is a real doctor I hope.
I'm glad to see that someone else watches Celebrity Apprentice. I do believe that Donald made a HUGE mistake in letting Carolyn and George go. Those two were a big part of the show. I don't know about George but I know that Trump supposedly was unhappy with Carolyn capitalizing on her new-found fame. Her book was a best-seller and she was being offered speaking opportunities. The show went downhill after the two of them left.
The money for this show is for charity. I think the only person on it who still has a career is Trace Atkins, the country music singer. I don't like him, but he's still on the radio.
My sister later told me that Gene Simmons is writing a book about prostitution, where he is going around the world interviewing (hmmmmmm) hookers around the world. I guess he was ready to get off the show and carry on with his interviewing adventures. Still, he left the Donald is such a snit! What fun.
I also enjoyed Steven Baldwin falling on the table and spilling coffee all over the computer!
I don't know who half those celebrities are, however!!!
I watch his show on A&E sometimes and it's hiliarious watching him taken down a peg by his family.
Gene is very egotistical, he is very wealthy and he is a very good businessman. "Kiss" licensing is all of it - is owned by Gene. he is stubborn, and that unfortunately was one of his faults with this weeks task.
Even if he is not very good looking still has women falling all over him.
Celebrity rehab has Daniel Baldwin on it. Daniel is the baldwin brother who has had numerous rehab stays due to substance abuse.
. . . and no, I definitely don't think Gene Simmons is good looking in any way, shape or form. But he is my husband's favorite member of KISS and his mom thinks Gene his hot.
