Have you seen the ads for J.K. Rowling's new book, The Tales of Beedle the Bard? It's coming out December 8, but you can pre-order it now, and my email is full of ads from Borders, Amazon, and Barnes and Noble offering incentives for doing so.

This one is five wizarding fairy tales, and is based on the book that Dumbeldore left Hermione.

It certainly should be interesting. Are you planning to buy it?

I just got a notice from B&N too about it. I'm not going to pre-order it, but once it's released I'll probably pick it up out of curiosity.

I haven't gotten a notice yet but I heard about it a few months back. I'll wait and see on the "purchase" option ... there are a lot of other books on my list before this one.

Oh, I hadn't even heard of it coming out yet. That's weird. But, yeah, it definitely sounds interesting to me. I'll have to keep my eyes out for it. ^_^ Thanks for the heads up.

Didn't know about it but surely will pick it up to consider buying it especially if it's at a discount..hard cover books are getting so expensive.

I'm not really into Harry Potter, so I won't be buying. I did get an email recommendation for it from Amazon, though.

I might get if from the library, but I wouldn't buy it. I saw that Amazon has special edition copies for $100!!!! OMG!

This one is going for charity, to help children. At Borders, if you have a Borders card, you can pre-order it for less than $8.

I can't wait. I was so sad when she did the handwritten ones...I wanted one...anyways this is the next best thing.. I have all seven books, quidditch through the ages, fantastic beasts and where to find them and now this...I just need her to publish that encyclopedia already. You guys ready for the movie in November??
