The Vampire Diaries - Will you watch?

Tonight is the series premiere of The Vampire Diaries.The story centers around a teenage girl, Elena Gilbert, who is the object of affection for two vampire brothers - one good and one evil. The show is based around the NYT bestselling series Night World. Entertainment Weekly gave the show a B+. It seems promising!

I'm excited. I am obsessed with vampires right now, and will not be missing out. Who cares that the cast is a bunch of high school students? I'm young at heart.

Will you be watching?

Catch The Vampire Diaries tonight on the CW @ 8PM.

If this series is successful, it will probably pave the way for more vampire TV shows. I smell a Twilight TV series once the movies are over!

You need to add another option to your poll. No I won't be watching it because I still have like 20 episodes of True Blood to catch up on and many books to read.

I probably wont watch it because its intended demographic is at the opposite end of the spectrum than I. I am a middle aged man. The vampire romances of late are written for, and acted by young people. A vampire story might appeal to me, but not if it is merely a twist in a teenage romance story.

I work tonight, but I plan to DVR it. I don't know what I'm going to do about next week, though, as it runs up against Grey's Anatomy and Bones, 2 of my favorites, and I can only DVR 2 at a time! Why, oh, why, did they have to move Bones?? I'm hoping the CW will show Vampire Diaries again during the week, like they are this week!

After the last episode of True Blood ended and I searched for a new great vampire show. I found this tv show and watched it on http://watchthevampirediariestv.net and I must say: Great! Will watch all the episodes of Vampire Diaries!
