Taylor Swift supports Taylor Lautner at...

As expected, Twilight swept several categories at the People's Choice Awards. The only star from the movies singled out to win though was New Moon's Taylor Lautner. Though Taylor's role in this movie was an improvement from the first film and I'm a fan, I wouldn't go all out to say he deserved to win the Breakthrough Movie Actor category. He was up against Sam Worthington (Terminator Salvation), Chris Pine (Star Trek), Zachary Quinto (Star Trek), and Joseph Gordon-Levitt (500 Days of Summer). I've seen all five nominated performances nominated, and if you ask me, Gordon-Levitt deserved the award, but millions of screaming teenage fans are going to overpower me when it comes to the People's Choice Awards.

Check out the video of Taylor Lautner's acceptance speech. His ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift was in the audience and of course the cameras quickly panned on her. She was very supportive and gave him a standing ovation along with other audience members. (Let's face it though, she didn't have much of a choice not to.) Maybe Tay-Tay celebrated with a toast (non-alcoholic, of course) after the show?
