Actor and former teen idol Corey Haim, was found dead early this morning at just 38 years old, of an apparent drug overdose.
His mother called 911 and he was found unresponsive by emergency services. Haim was taken to Providence St. Joseph's Medical Center in Burbank, CA, where he was pronounced dead. The Los Angeles Police Department are calling his death accidental and coroners will investigate to find the official cause of death.
As a child of the 80's, I remember Corey Haim fondly. Movies like Lucas, the Lost Boys, and Dream a Little Dream were a part of my childhood. I wish he had been able to make a come
back after a history of substance abuse.
