"I'm Not The Male Lady GaGa" Says Adam Lambert on Twitter

Lady GaGa is spawning a whole new kind of mega-fame...

Other artists are denying they're imitating her. Adam Lambert has begun tweeting about his unhappiness for being compared to Lady GaGa and it's sounding a bit desperate:

10:10am: Just did my third German interview where I was told that I have said "I'm the male Lady Gaga". Lol I would never say that. I'm Adam Lambert...

10:14am: Of course Im a fan and have the highest respect for her and there are some theatrical sensibilities that we share- but we are different people...

10:17am: The first question too many reporters ask has to do w GaGa. As much as I love her- it's becoming tiresome. Would prefer to discuss MY art...

10:18am: I'm sure she would agree...

10:21am: More redundant questions that can be put to rest: yes it was amazing meeting Madonna. No I wasn't asked to be Queen's new frontman...

Wow. Poor Adam Lambert! He had a real cool thing going on after he made a big splash on American Idol last year, heralded by Simon Cowell for his uniqueness, talent and individual artistry. Now he's reduced to denying he's the male Lady GaGa!

Of course, that begs the question: Is Adam Lambert a woman?
