Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed [are] they that have not seen, and [yet] have believed.
When we look for the face of Jesus in the Shroud of Turinare we a little like Thomas? Or when we search for the face of Jesus in the Shroud of Turin, are we seeking the simple comfort of "seeing" Him?
I am fascinated by what looks like the face of Jesus in the Shroud of Turin. The History Channel discussed the legitimacy of the Shroud of Turin in "The Real Face of Jesus" last night. Some experts feel it's the real deal while other negate that fact.
Whether we look upon the face of Jesus or not, His message is in our hearts. He lives on everyday through our living and sharing the Word. Faith is believing what we don't actually see.
