The premiere of Twilight's Eclipse is set for June 30th and yet the team at Summit Entertainment have decided to reshoot a few of the key scenes. I guess they felt that they weren't perfect enough for them. The whole cast including Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are returning for the reshoot but while Summit was hoping to have a full week to work with they're limited to only 3 days due to R-Patz busy schedule. Hey, he's a star now!
The main scenes that will be reshot are some of the action sequences as well as the meadow shot with R-Patz and Kristen Stewart (seen above). I guess they're lacking "polish." And even though they're reshooting the scenes Summit may not choose to work with David Slades but find another producer for the job. Sources say that Summit and Slades are on the outs so rumors have it that Catherine Hardwicke or Chris Weitz might be asked.
Are the producers now just being picky? I'm sure everything looks great to the layperson but I'm also sure that whatever they do will make the film that much better.
