Yesterday TMZ reported the Crystal Bowersox recently tried quitting the American Idol 2010 season until Ryan Seacrest stepped in and convinced her otherwise.
The American Idol drama took place in a parking lot after the show in which Crystal Bowersox complained that she hated the attention and wanted to go back to her family in Ohio. Fast-talking Ryan Secreast convinced her otherwise telling her, ""The greatest thing I ever did was make enough money so I could buy my mom a house. You can buy your mom a house."
I'm giving Ryan a big pat on the back for this one. No wonder this guy makes the big bucks! But now I'm frowning down on Crystal Bowersox big time. Too much pressure? Give me a break. There's plenty of singers who tried out for Idol who wanted to make the cut more than anything. Not to mention, those who have been kicked out this season alone would have loved it if Crystal was voted off in their place, since she wants to go home so much.
If she didn't want the money and the fame, why did Crystal Bowersox try out? She's been given a shortcut to a record contract. She can't expect not to work hard for it.
