Following their breakup, rumor has it that Halle Berry's ex and baby daddy Gabriel Aubry is unhappy with all of the media attention focused on their 2-year old daughter Nahla. Though the couple was considering joint custody, Radar Online claims that Aubry wants sole custody and is planning on taking Nahla away from the flashing cameras of Hollywood. Halle Berry and Gabriel Aubry have a home in Canada, which is where the male model wants to raise their daughter.
According to the same report, it turns out that Gabriel is an unhappy camper because he believes Halle Berry's people are trying to spread rumors that he's not able to support their child. A source tells Radar Online, "Gabriel has always been there 100% for his daughter, he would do absolutely anything for her. He may not earn what Halle does but he still makes a great living as a model, pulling in around $700,000 a year."
Wow, I'd say that $700,000 a year is more than enough to raise a child. (Maybe he could take some of the kids off Nadya Suleman's hands with that money!) If this story is true, it sounds like he has very good intentions. I can't blame him from wanting to raise his daughter Nahla outside of L.A. However, Gabriel Aubry went into the relationship aware of the media attention Halle Berry would bring. If he was OK with his daughter being in the spotlight then, why not now? Is it just to spite Halle? I say keep the custody agreement as planned. 50/50 sounds good to me. What do you think?
