Slash, the top-hatted Keith Richards wannabe who used to be in Guns N'Roses, was in the midst of an admittedly not bad guitar solo during "Sweet Child O'Mine" at a show in Milan when he was attacked by someone who managed to get past backstage security.
Video of the incident, which took place June 10, is just now arriving, via LiveLeak.com. Prior to the show, Slash took to Facebook to remark about the potential for "one rowdy crowd," and then returned to review the incident:
"What'd I say? Rowdy crowd for sure, but amazing. The guy who nailed me didn't take me down but he busted my poor guitar. Ah well, it was a kick ass rock show."
Rawkin rolllll, man! The reason for the attempted tackle hasn't yet been disclosed -- nor has the condition of the attacker, who as you'll see in the clip below sailed into the crowd minus Slash, guitar, or dignity. A reminder for the stage-invader: Slash had nothing to do with Chinese Democracy.
