Do you have a great movie idea? Who doesn't? Have you ever dreamed of pitching that movie idea to a real Hollywood producer who greenlights it and gives you the chance to become a world famous movie maker? Of course!
Well now you might just get that chance. That is if you aren't already making the rounds of the studios...

The folks at The Tribeca Film Festival have teamed up with American Express to create an Indie Film pitch contest that allows non-professional entrants to upload videos of their movie idea to Youtube and be voted on by movie professionals and regular folks alike.
Round 1 has already begun, but no worries! Round 2 gets underway in August and that means you can fine tune your pitch down to the 60 seconds required.
To get started, go to My Movie Pitch on YouTube and look over the rules and eligibility requirements. What's the Grand Prize?
Turning your pitch into a real life, honest to goodness indie film that will be screened at the 2011 Tribeca Film Festival! 9 runnersup will also receive some high end movie making equipment.
So dust off those brain cells, make that video pitch and get ready for Indie movie stardom.
In the meantime, can you help a struggling movie maker out?
I made my own pitch for a movie I call "The Back Button" and I'd love to have your vote! The video is below. If you like it, head on over to the Pitch Gallery, look me up and give me a shot!
Thanks! See ya in Hollywood!
