The buzz has it that Gwyneth Paltrow just might be headed to McKinley High this season. It is said that the actress may make an appearance on the popular FOX show Glee in November.
The show, which just kicked off Season 2 Tuesday night, already has cameos by Britney Spears and John Stamos already lined up for this season. However, it appears that they're trying to add Paltrow to the line-up for two episodes in November.
According to E!, Paltrow will sing and dance in the episodes. She will also be a love interest Will Schuester (played by Matthew Morrison), which will complicate his relationship with Emma.
Paltrow would play a substitute teacher who takes Will's place when he comes down with something.
The role was written expressly for Paltrow, since Glee creator/executive producer Ryan Murphy is friends with her.
Of course, Glee isn't the only place that fans will be able to hear Paltrow sing. The movie Country Strong, which will be out in December, also has the actress carrying a tune.
It looks like Glee fans have just been given another reason to be filled with glee.
