New Kids on The Block and Backstreet Boys rocked the house in the final performance of the 2010 AMA's. The boyband super group left fans wanting more, but are they too old to be considered boybands?
New Kids On The Block, known as the original boyband has gotten back together a couple times in recent years, even producing new music, but they can't seem to measure their success from the late 1980's/early 1990's. Is it because now they're too old and the boyband craze is over?
Backstreet Boys came out at a time when there weren't really any other boybands out there. NKOTB hadn't released any new music, and teen girls were just looking for a music group to latch on to, and they found it in BSB. Now, years later, after a trio of hit cd's is it time for the boys and the kids to re-emerge? Perhaps they'll only perform their greatest hits, since neither group can seemingly measure up to their early success.
Either way, fans of the Backstreet Boys and New Kids On The Block were loving every minute of the boyband power duo's performance at the 2010 American Music Awards, and according to MTV, that's exactly what fans can expect on their upcoming tour.
