Vanity Fair 2011 Hollywood issue has once again caused a controversy over the race of the actors featured on its cover. Last year, the controversy over race was ignited when
Vanity Fair featured only white women on its cover. This year, the brew-ha-ha is over the four main featured actors shown before the fold (all white).
Seriously though, perhaps people should just relax a little. ItÂ’s not like there are really that many major 'minority' stars in Hollywood. Maybe, just maybe, Vanity Fair was trying to be as honest to their vision of who should be on their cover, regardless of race.
Vanity Fair 2011 Hollywood issue cover featured which actors and actresses they thought were the “most exciting.” Frankly, they did a great job with it. The cover is beautifully and tastefully done. So what if someone with a darker skin tone was shown after the fold. Sometimes the whole PC thing is enough to make one question whom the real racist is!
