The chances of anyone watching the Black Eyed Peas Super Bowl halftime show not knowing the words to at least one of the songs that was performed among them and Usher and Slash is extremely unlikely.
Some of this summer's catchiest hits as well as some old school james (Sweet Chlid of Mine, anyone?) were blasting through the Cowboys Stadium this evening during its signature halftime entertainment.
The Black Eyed Peas brought their A-game, performing the smash songs, "I've Got a Feelin'" and "Boom Boom Pow" as well as collaborating with surprise guests Slash and Usher. They also paid homage to what almost seems like a former life for them, when they performed the years-ago single "Where Is The Love?". All that was missing from that equation was Justin Timberlake.
Aside from the great tunes, the Black Eyed Peas brought one essential thing missing from last year's performance by The Who: energy! Not only were they amped up, but the crowd went crazy, as well, and the dancers on the field were fantastic!
What did you think of this year's Super Bowl halftime show? Did you think the Black Eyed Peas were a hit? Or would you rather have seen someone else perform?
