Tonight on American Idol, the top 12 girls will perform. Keep reading for spoilers for tonight's episode. The lucky ladies will be taking the big stage (the guys performed last night) and will be leaving their fate in the hands of America. Since this portion of the show is taped, there are some spoilers as to who really "wowed" and who didn't do so hot.
Karen Rodriguez takes on Hero by Mariah Carey and is one of the better performances of the night. Thia Megia sings Out Here on My Own by Irene Cara and is also decent for the first night. Early favorite Lauren Alaina did a good job singing Turn on the Radio by Reba McIntyre. Pia Toscano nailed I'll Stand By You by The Pretenders and may be the best performance of the night.
Tatynisa Wilson will be singing Only Girl by Rihanna and is said to be very dull. Naima Adedapo takes on Summertime by George Gershwin, and while she is a "stand out" in the competition, this isn't her best performance. Kendra Chantelle chose Impossible by Christina Aguilera and received mixed reviews.
Rachel Zevita sings Criminal by Fiona Apple and fails to impress the judges. Julie Zorrilla, an early favorite, didn't do Kelly Clarkson justice, singing Breakaway. Haley Reinhart didn't waste any time picking a big song like Fallin' by Alicia Keys, and it sounds like she fell short.
Ashthon Jones did a terrible job singing Love Over Me by Monica. This may be the end of the road for her journey on American Idol.
So who will go home on Thursday? You'll just have to watch and see for yourself!
