Emily Blunt and Matt Damon's film, The Adjustment Bureau, didn't top Johnny Depp's film, Rango, in theaters this past weekend. Despite losing out on first place, the movie is doing just fine at second. In The Adjustment Bureau, Damon plays a politician who gets caught up with a group of mysterious men. Emily Blunt plays a dancer.
These men work for the "Adjustment" bureau. They can predict the future, they are all-knowing, and their only task is to keep the future the way it's destined to be, at all cost.
Sounds a bit like those bald guys from Fringe, does it not? Anyway, these mysterious men from the "Adjustment" bureau are trying their hardest to keep Matt Damon and Emily Blunt apart. Apparently, the two were not destined to be together. However, Damon will do whatever it takes to stay with Blunt.
The movie is thrilling, fast-paced, and sort of wacky at times. Emily Blunt and Matt Damon have believable screen chemistry and that's a big plus! On many levels, The Adjustment Bureau is predictable. Readers, what did you think of the movie?
