NCIS isn't one to pay much attention to the romance, but it does occasionally come up. Ziva has her (so far) off-screen boyfriend Ray, something's going on with Tony and EJ, and now it sounds like it's Abby's turn for some romance.
Jealousy time?

According to TVGuide, "Abby's going on a date" soon. In case you don't remember the earlier seasons, Abby, played by Pauley Perrette, and McGee, played by Sean Murray, had an off-screen relationship. Even though they went back to being just friends, they do each show jealousy when the other is involved with someone else.
According to Pauley Perrette, "If another girl comes around McGee, [Abby] definitely has a little bit of a jealous streak." This is certainly true the other way around as well, and it sounds like McGee will show some of that jealousy when Abby goes on a date with a guy who is "a stick-around kind of guy [who' she'll look up toÂ…in some respect."
Fans are still hoping for McGee and Abby to get back together. Even though they're no longer dating, there are plenty of cute moments between the two to satisfy fans (or just leave them wanting more). When Dr. Cranston talked to the team members, she remarked that he wants a committed relationship and when she questioned Abby about filling the hole left behind from Kate's death with McGee, the forensic scientist flashed back to their history. Cranston also remarked that McGee may be looking too hard to find the right woman. Could Abby be the "right woman" for him?
