2011 CMT Music Awards: Luke Bryan Performs 'Country Girls (Shake It for Me)' (Video)
June 09, 2011 01:50 AM UTC
Country singer Luke Bryan rocked the CMT Music Awards 2011 stage on Wednesday night with his entertaining musical performance. Bryan performed his hit song "Country Girl (Shake It for Me)" to the delight of screaming fans in the Nashville audience on a night when country music honored its best in music video.
While Bryan wasn't one of tonight's CMT's Music Awards winners, he may be winning in the eyes of Charlie Sheen and others. Bryan rocked the stage with a bevvy of beauties doing a choreographed dance as he moved around the stage. Luke was decked out in a Braves baseball cap along with tight dark shirt and jeans as he instructed via song: "country girl shake it for me girl." It certainly had Luke sweating up a storm and the crowd loving every minute of the energetic performance. Luke Bryan was even a Twitter trending topic during the show, for obvious reason as fans were dazzled.
According to Taste of Country, Luke Bryan's CMT Music Awards 2011 performance had everyone out of their seat shaking it for the Nashville event. Even Lady Antebellum's Charles Kelley was shaking it, although he's not a girl.
Bryan's been around in country music since 2007, making it a relatively young career, and he won his first CMT Award at last year's show. Bryan took the USA Weekend Breakthrough Video of the Year for "Do I" and looks like he'll probably have a few more awards before his lengthy career's over.
