The Walking Dead season 2 first look
AMC aired a first look at the second season of their hit drama, and it's just enough to leave fans wanting more. The clip (below) shows a walker slowly moving through the woods—right towards where a dripping Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln)—it is hot in Atlanta, and fighting off zombies is definitely not light exercise—is waiting with a large rock. Rick hits the zombie with the rock, knocking him down, before smashing his head in. When another approaches, he throws the rock in his face, knocking him down. He picks up the rock and lifts it above his head, swinging it down to the zombie's face.
This clip is just what Walking Dead fans needed, but at the same time, not enough to be more than just a tease. It also shows that these survivors can take care of themselves even without weapons, and they're learning just how to take out zombies with whatever's at their disposal. If the rest of the season is anything like this clip, viewers are in for plenty of scenes fighting off zombies, more gore and, of course, plenty more walkers.
