Darren Criss was just recently made a series regular for Glee season 3, but could an opportunity for him cause him to miss a large chunk of the show? It doesn't sound like fans should be worried, but what's coming in his career that could cause that?
How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying
According to Deadline, Criss could be the one to take over for Harry Potter's Daniel Radcliffe in the Broadway show for his debut, all dependent on if those at Glee give the "OK." As long as that happens and they're able to get a deal together, "Criss will do a 3-week [in January] in addition to 2 weeks of rehearsals in December, missing a total of an episode and a half of Glee." That wouldn't be too bad, and it could easily be explained away by saying he's home sick or on vacation if necessary. Darren Criss is certainly talented enough to take on the role, and he has quickly become quite the star over the past year. There's no reason to doubt he couldn't handle making his Broadway debut while also working on Glee as a series regular; hopefully they're able to get a deal together so it can happen.
What do you think of Darren Criss going on Broadway for How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying? Do you want to see it happen?
Glee has been nominated for a Primetime Emmy. The Emmys air September 18th on FOX.
