Actress Alice St Clair, who will portray Kate Middleton in a Hallmark movie called William and Catherine: A Royal Romance, says the Duchess of Cambridge was a hard act to follow on-screen. The Daily Mail reports that St Clair found the role of Kate a daunting one and challenging to imitate her. William and Kate are impossible to mimic for any actor or actress.
Kate Middleton is a very current person and someone so big that Alice St Clair felt a lot of pressure to pull it off on-screen. She did admit that since she's a young woman, that part of having a youthful personality wasn't necessarily difficult. The Duchess of Cambridge is an extremely relatable member of Britain's Royal Family. William and Kate have certainly broke the mold in being a couple the public can connect with. They separate themselves from the elitist traditions of royal life.
William and Catherine: A Royal Romance will be seen on at the end of this month on the Hallmark channel.
