The 2011 MTV Video Music Awards arrive on Sunday night. Already it appears that 2011 MTV VMA winners may be revealed, if one website's predictions hold true. So who will be big winners of the MTV "Moonman" award statues on Sunday night?
The MTV VMA predictions arise due to the fact they are actually allowing betting on the winners for 2011. While many people bet on sports in Las Vegas or online, there are also other events which receive wagering activity including the Oscars and the Presidential election. Right some are even betting heavily that Justin Bieber will be a VMA winner.
Bieber carries the best odds to win the Best Male Video category for his "U Smile" video with Cee Lo Green and Eminem trailing in the odds. Best Female Video is predicted to go to Lady Gaga, while Wiz Khalifa is predicted to win Best New Artist. Of course these are odds set by sites on who should win, and there could be a few upsets on the night.
Of note, the VMA odds predict Katy Perry will win at least two awards on the night: Best Pop Video and Video of the Year. Perry received the most nominations heading into Sunday night's big awards show. They also predict Kanye West will get up on stage during an MTV Awards show, but this time to receive an award. There's no telling what else Kanye might do at the event, but if he wins an award that may keep him from causing trouble!
