Justin Bieber Wins MTV Video Music Award for Best Male VMA 2011

Justin Bieber won the MTV Video Music Award for his video U Smile. Bieber defeated several other top male artists including the flamboyant Cee Lo Green and always controversial rappers Eminem and Kanye West.

One of the latest 2011 MTV VMA winners, Justin Bieber arrived on stage to get his Moonman statuette from presenter Kim Kardashian. He thanked Jesus and all of the other nominees, whom he said he would share the award with. Justin showed up earlier in the night to the red carpet where his girlfriend Selena Gomez was hosting. He was able to plant a kiss on her cheek as well.

So now Justin picks up a huge MTV award and defeated several other successful artists. Those other nominees included Bruno Mars for his song Grenade, Eminem for Love the Way You Lie, and Kanye West for All of The Lights. All of these were worthy nominees, but Justin Bieber had been the odds on favorite to win at the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards. Congratulations to Justin for his big win Sunday night!
