The MTV VMAs may center around music, but that doesn't mean they can't dabble in film as well. In fact, they have become known as a great medium for showing a sneak peek of upcoming films, and Sunday's awards show proved no different, as they gave fans a first look at the upcoming film, The Hunger Games.
The film adaptation of the extremely popular Suzanne Collins novel is easily one of the most highly anticipated films of the year, as it tells the shocking tale of a fictional, post-apocalyptic world where children are preyed upon by one another. As for the first look at The Hunger Games film, anyone who had been doubting Jennifer Lawrence's ability to portray the heroine Katniss Everdeen is likely silencing those doubts after seeing the preview, as she definitely looks the part.
