Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart had a honeymoon, of sorts. And that honeymoon, where the duo in real life played at being married in movie life, was in a place where anyone can go. And before you go, you can see the whole thing play on the big screen when Breaking Dawn Pt. 1 opens on November 18.
Here's some clarification: Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, as the newly dubbed Mr. and Mrs. Edward Cullen, went off to Isle Esme right after their wedding. This dream location, situated near Rio de Janeiro in Brazil, was originally a gift from Edward's adoptive mother as given by Carlisle, her husband.
So, when Edward and Bella (Robert and Kristen) arrive, they find a huge house right on the beach, the ideal place in which to launch their newly wedded bliss in style. Romance ensues, after which time the pair go off to discover what Isle Esme is all about. They do everything a tourist would do, from snorkeling to swimming with porpoises.
But that's a little beside the point. The reason this background has been established is to say that although Isle Esme is fictional, the Portuguese colonial town of Paraty is not. And on Paraty, from among this sandy destination's 44 beaches, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart chose the bay of Saco de Mamangua in which to frolic in an amazing waterfall.
And while Robert Pattinson (as Edward) and Kristen Stewart (as Bella) were housed in the family mansion, the real actors were housed in a lovely hotel called Pousada do Ouro, also in Paraty.
And so, with all this said, if you want to do as RPattz and Kstew did, you too can live the life of Edward and Bella as they enjoyed their honeymoon in Brazil. Anyone up for such an adventure?
Meanwhile, anyone up for the adventure of seeing Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart as they go through the motions of being on honeymoon in Brazil as actors, not as civilians? Then go see Breaking Dawn Pt. 1 as soon as it opens for a real bite of the real places these thespians discovered while visiting South America.
