Jerry Seinfeld joined Kelly Ripa on Live! With Kelly Monday morning, and he teased fans about a big announcement that the two were going to be making. Seinfeld is the very first guest host to try his hand at filling Regis Philbin's shoes since his retirement from the show on Friday.
According to a report from Zap2It.com, Seinfeld will co-host with Kelly Ripa throughout this entire shortened Thanksgiving week--Monday, November 21st through Wednesday, November 23rd. Neil Patrick Harris will be the next to help man the helm.
During Monday's show, and the first time the show was simply dubbed Live! With Kelly, both Ripa and Jerry Seinfeld mercilessly teased the audience and the home viewers about a big announcement they were going to make. Of course everyone assumed that announcement was the name of the person to permanently serve as co-host with Kelly Ripa.
That wasn't to be the case, however. Instead Kelly Ripa and Jerry Seinfeld announced (eventually, after some torturous teasing) that the show would be traveling to Hawaii in February. While there, the show will be throwing a destination wedding. People can submit an entry in hopes of winning this amazing prize by checking out the Live! With Kelly website.
