2 Broke Girls continues with "And the Reality Check." As winter sets in and it begins snowing, Caroline and Max have to figure out what to do with Chestnut.

Han's happy because the clientele had changed for the better, pointing to hipsters against the wall, but Max tells him the difference between homeless and hipsters. She kicks out the hipsters, letting the homeless stay.
Caroline shows Max a camera customers left behind after not tipping, and Max says she'll give it to Oleg so he can take one of his "special pictures." Caroline says she loves the snow, but Max tells her it's not the same when poor, pointing out Chestnut's outside. Caroline isn't worried because she doesn't think it will snow for weeks. Oleg takes the picture without asking why, and Caroline screams when she sees him. She's so certain it's not going to snow, despite Earl and Oleg insisting it is. Oleg returns the camera (with a video too) and leaves in his two winter coats.
Later, Max finds Caroline sweeping snow in their yard wearing a Hefty bag since she gave Chestnut her coat. Max wonders if she's planning on just sweeping the snow away until spring, but Caroline insists the tarp she has hanging will work. Max tries to stop her from climbing on an icy chair as she fixes the tarp, but it ends up dumping the snow on them. When Max gets to Peach's, she finds out she made it to the final casting of Real Housewives of TriBeCa. The producers are on their way over, and she has Brangelina bundled up. The last spot is between Peach and Misty, her best friend, who's very competitive. She wants a handicapped animal, and Max says she has a homeless celebrity horse with gender identity issues.
2 Broke Girls looking for a winter home for Chestnut
Caroline put Chestnut in Max's bedroom and continues to look for a place for her horse. She doesn't want Chestnut going to Peach's and argues that as "old money" they don't parade themselves around. Max tells her pets aren't her thing and refuses to check on him when he makes noise. Caroline finds stables for Chestnut and sees Max's browser history of cute kitten videos. She insists she's just into freaky kittens. Caroline says she'll miss Chestnut when he's gone.
Max and Caroline borrow Oleg's coats to make a fancy entrance at the stables, and they introduce Chestnut to Tony. Caroline lists his accomplishments, but Tony says he's out-of-shape and not a jumper anymore. Caroline takes offense and gets on his case about his weight. Tony says Chestnut won't make him a penny, so he can't take him. After getting the last word in, Caroline and Max leave.
Max takes Caroline (in her Hefty bag) to meet Peach, but the place is crawling with reality TV cameras. Caroline quickly changes into heels and takes off the bag, "gets her rich on," and has Max let her in. Peach introduces Caroline to everyone.
At the stables, Caroline says Chestnut likes it there. She's also never going to be on the show because she didn't sign the release. Caroline realizes that Max really loves Chestnut when she jokes around with him and leaves them to have a minute alone to say goodbye. Max tells him she got attached to him and he was the best thing they had going when everything was going downhill. She thanks him for everything—especially being fuzzy. Caroline joins her and can tell she's crying and says they'll find a way to get him back in the spring. She knows what to say to cheer her up.
