The Real Housewives of New York has started filming its upcoming season with half the cast replaced. Jill Zarin, Alex McCord, Cindy Barshop and Kelly Bensimon have all been replaced with new rich women from New York. Now the remaining women from the show are speaking out about the cast changes and the new season.
Countess LuAnn de Lesseps, Ramona Singer and Sonja Morgan are now speaking out on the upcoming season, their fired friends and their new cast mates. It turns out that the women are missing the fired women, but it comes as no surprise as LuAnn was good friends with most of the fired women. "It's different. The girls are different so it's a totally different experience," LuAnn shared, according to Hollywood Life.
"I always miss the girls. We worked a long time together. You miss people you're comfortable with," she shared about her old cast members. The word "different" could indicate that the women on The Real Housewives of New York are not having too many fights, not too much bullying and not enough drama in front of the cameras. In fact, the season may end up being boring. Even Ramona misses Jill Zarin, even though they always fought. Is that how desperate these women are for drama? "It's sad not to have all the girls that I grew up on the show with," she admitted to us. "We all did this together. But change can be good."
But Ramona believes that the new women are nice and that the season will be great. "We're not allowed to talk about the new girls," she explains when asked about the new cast members. "It's going to be a great show [though]."
