The X Factor has named its winner for its first season, and now the look is moving to next season. There might be some changes in store for the second season of The X Factor in the US, and one of those changes might involve the judging table. Nicole Scherzinger is not set to return next year yet, and from recent comments made by the singer - she wants to focus elsewhere in 2012.
According to Hollywood Life, she said the following in a recent interview:
"Next year for me, it's about my music. This has been quite a learning experience, quite a journey for me. I didn't expect to have been so emotional through the whole elimination process. I wanted to just mentor and empower artists."
Scherzinger has been one of the most criticized judges on this season's panel of The X Factor. The criticism only elevated after she didn't vote during the show where Rachel Crow was eliminated. The singer also received death threats via social media because of some of her decisions on the series. Simon Cowell hasn't even said the singer will return next year.
There is some time to lock her in if he wants her back for next season, but does he want her back? Too soon to tell. Right now, his focus is on Melanie Amaro and her win this week.
What do you think? Do you want to see Nicole Scherzinger back on The X Factor next season?
