Yet another rumored upcoming project with Lindsay Lohan's name potentially attached as a lead is circulating Hollywood. A second full reboot of author Stephen King's novel Carrie is in the works, and the troubled starlet could be in for the title role. Unlike many of the other whispered role possibilities, this rumor could have some meat behind it.
Last year, the man himself, Stephen King, actually discussed the possibility of a Carrie remake and, according to the Daily Mail, said that he thought Lindsay Lohan could be fun in the title role. Sissy Spacek, the noted actress who originally portrayed the role on the silver screen, stated the following in response to that comment, "I've heard rumblings about a Carrie remake... Lindsay Lohan as Carrie White, hmmm. It would certainly be fun to cast."
Back when Lindsay Lohan was still a fresh-faced redhead, she certainly would have been a good physical match for the role. Perhaps, even now, with a great deal of make-up help, she could pull off the look. However, should the role of Carrie herself elude the star, on a bad day she could pull off the look of the crazy, haggard mom in the film.
