Glee season 3 continues next week with episode 12, "The Spanish Teacher," but there are already spoilers out for episode 13, "Heart," as McKinley High celebrates Valentine's Day. Will Sam and Mercedes get back together? What can Kurt look forward to? What's coming for the other winner of The Glee Project?
Glee season 3 episode 13 "Heart" spoilers
According to TV Guide, Mercedes hasn't broken up with her boyfriend despite the kiss she shared with Sam in "Michael," and she will be singing "I Will Always Love You." Chord Overstreet has revealed, "There's a lot of love and a little bit of heartbreak in the episode. Mercedes still has her boyfriend, and I'm still trying to jump in on that and convince her to break up with him. There's a lot of that throughout this episode. He acts sweet and sings to her to win her over." Sam's not giving up, and it has been nice to see someone actively pursuing Mercedes. Even if you're not a fan of Sam and Mercedes' relationship, you have to admit, what Sam has been doing is sweet (putting aside the fact that he's trying to end a relationship). It's getting to seem like it's only a matter of time before Shane's out of the picture and Sam and Mercedes are back together. Will "Heart" feature a big step in that direction?
Meanwhile, Chris Colfer has talked about Kurt's storyline in the episode, as Darren Criss will be around for some of the episode, so there should be some "Klaine" scenes to make fans happy. However, Colfer also revealed, "there's definitely a huge development for Kurt in that episode that involves someone in a gorilla costume." Will it be Blaine in the gorilla costume perhaps surprising his boyfriend after recovering from the eye surgery following the slushie incident? This is their first Valentine's Day together, so you hope that they'll be able to do something nice for the holiday, especially after how last year's went. Is there a romantic surprise in Kurt's future?
Finally, Samuel Larsen from The Glee Project will finally be showing up as Joe Hart in this episode, and it'll be interesting to see how his character is received. Many have liked Damian McGinty's Rory, whose storyline has been extended. Will fans like Joe Hart as well? Details are scarce on the character, but fortunately it's almost time to find out more since "Heart" is just a couple of weeks away.
