Adam Lambert was in London yesterday, where he performed a showcase of five acoustic songs, three of which are from his new album, Trespassing. The audience consisted mostly of British press, as well as a few lucky fan contest winners. So far, the reactions have been very positive. Jordan Meehan from the UK Electro Queer Music Blog had plenty of great things to say about Adam's performance. In fact, it seems that he really blew her away with his voice. She tweeted, "Quite honestly, he f**king slayed. His vocals were out of this world. He gave some insight to the new songs, which was nice." She followed with, "Idk what else to really say about it, other than its clear that these songs are really f**king good since they sound THIS good acoustic. My theory, typically, is that you can tell that a song is good if it can have the same effect on you acoustically + stripped down. These do."
Another British media outlet, Pressparty, was also in attendance at the event. They seemed to be equally enthralled with Adam's performance. In the Pressparty review of the showcase, they state that "the atmosphere inside the Dover Street Arts Club, located in Mayfair, was nothing short of mesmerizing." They also commented, "The sound inside the venue was tailored specifically to Lambert's needs and it worked incredibly well with the versatility and range his voice boasts." Also present at the event was Chart Show TV, who have just posted a snippet of Adam performing his new single "Better Then I Myself," which is below:

Obviously, the media showcase event in London was a huge success for Adam Lambert. He always impresses people with his stellar vocals and charismatic personality, whether they have seen him sing before or not. Now Adam is off to Sweden for one more performance. He will be doing another acoustic show at the Mix Megapol "Mix Unplugged" event in Stockholm tomorrow before he heads back to the states to continue promotion for his album Trespassing.
