While fans of the popular VH1 franchise Basketball Wives are gearing up for the fourth season tip-off this Sunday at 8 ET/PT, the show's most vibrant personality, Tami Roman, is prepping for her big screen début in Life, Love, Soul.
Roman plays a mother that is unexpectedly killed in a car crash, leaving her teenage son to deal with life on his own while trying to manage a new relationship with his absentee father. Roman's struggles with being a single-mother of her own have been greatly depicted on her hit TV show. Her performance is sure draw in moviegoers as it hopefully pulls from her own life experiences. The film is set to make its' premier in several cities across the country.
This isn't Roman's first step into the Hollywood spotlight. She has leant her talents to a number of scripted programs throughout her career as an actress. While fans are sure to tune in every week to see all the catfights on one of TV's most popular reality shows, hopefully Roman's performance will give viewers insight into the 'life, love, and soul' of the woman that's left on the Basketball Wives' cutting room floor.
