Oscars 2012 had The Help's Jessica Chastain in a daring red carpet fashion statement, donning a dress that was black-and-gold print perfection.
Talking to Ryan Seacrest and with her grandma, Marilyn, at her side, The Help actress said, "This year is just unbelievable."
The Oscar nominee told Ryan—who was on E! Entertainment television interviewing celebrities for the red carpet fashion parade—she feels as if she is "walking through fog" as she walks toward the big show and Hollywood's biggest night.
And as she does so, she is wearing an Alexander McQueen extravaganza, a designer she often chooses for big occasions. And Chastain does so in a very stately a manner this time, as the late, great designer would well appreciate. Indeed, the redheaded thespian looked absolutely terrific in his strapless number.
Call the look regal since the tapestry the fabric of this McQueen creation effects a royal experience, as is certainly appropriate whenever anyone walks the Oscars red carpet.
And so, with that said, what do you think of Jessica Chastain from The Help as she heads into this huge event? If yes, is she winning the sartorial game? Will she win an Oscar as well?
