Fringe's fourth season is currently on a short break before resuming with all-new episodes on March 23—and there will be eight airing in a row!—and there is some casting news out for episode 19.
Fringe Season 4 Episode 19 Spoilers
According to TVLine, Georgina Haig is going to be playing "Etta, a new Fringe agent." This role is labeled as "potentially recurring," and she's "the partner of the new male agent to be played by Lost's Henry Ian Cusick." Like almost everything on this show, there are a lot of questions surrounding these characters, including which universe they'll be working in. Apparently the character descriptions first read that they'd be "Alternate Universe Agents." However, Cusick's character is apparently working for the FBI (but who knows how much else is different in these worlds with the question of Peter's existence), so there are questions that need answers. Fortunately, once new Fringe season 4 episodes resume, it won't be too long before viewers get those answers. So how will these characters get along with the series regular agents?
There's even more out about these characters. As mentioned, Etta could be showing up in more than one episode. However, that's not the case for Cusick's. Could that just be because he's just working this one case, or could something happen in episode 19 to him? Of course the big question that remains concerns Peter, who's doing everything he can think of to try to get home. Will that happen soon? Could he be any closer to getting home by episode 19?
