How I Met Your Mother season 7 may have the birth of Marshall and Lily's baby coming up, but everyone else is going to be pretty busy too as the season comes to an end.
HIMYM Season 7 Finale Spoilers
According to TVLine, the season 7 finale, titled "The Magician's Code," is going to show flashbacks to the childhoods of Barney, Robin, and Quinn. Barney's is going to show "his magic teacher giving the ol' hocus pocus to his mom." With that title, you knew there had to be something involving Barney and magic, and this will have the added bonus of bringing back Barney's mother. Barney has been shown to go overboard on the magic, and he had to learn it from somewhere.
Meanwhile, Robin's is going to show that "she has a history of pulling Winonas (you know, shoplifting)." Uh-oh, Robin. How is that going to come up in conversation? Currently, life seems to be getting better for her, as she was promoted and can afford a new apartment, and while you can imagine how magic would come up in conversation with Barney and lead to a flashback, the same isn't exactly true for Robin.
The third flashback to a character's childhood in the How I Met Your Mother season 7 finale is going to show Quinn when "a school project required her to interview a sort of wilting Gypsy Rose Lee." Yes, Quinn is still going to be around in the season finale, which you sort of expected considering how the latest episode ended, with her and Barney moving in together. That's not all coming up for Quinn in this episode, as "it sounds like Barney and Quinn are taking off together." So they're going to be pretty serious, but that doesn't necessarily mean he'll be marrying her in the future...does it? He could easily return from that trip no longer with Quinn.
