'Castle' Season 4 Episode 20 'The Limey' Preview: Will Beckett Tell Castle How She Feels?

Castle continues next week with season 4 episode 20, "The Limey," and after Castle found out Beckett remembers everything from getting shot in "47 Seconds," things are going to be different between them—and not in a good way.

"A devilishly handsome detective from Scotland Yard, Simon Hunt (Brett Tucker, 'Off the Map,' 'Spartacus,' guest stars), teams up with Castle & Beckett to find the person responsible for the murder of his friend's daughter. Also, Charles Shaughnessy ('Days of Our Lives') plays Nigel Winthrop, the Deputy General at the British Consulate whom Castle & Beckett suspect is up to more than just ambassadorial balls and diplomatic luncheons. Meanwhile, Lanie convinces Beckett that she needs to make a move on Castle before it is too late."

Castle was just about to tell Beckett how he felt when they had to focus on the case instead, and after he found out she lied about remembering, he changed his mind about talking to her. Well, now the ball's in her court, but is it going to be too late for her to do anything about it?

In the Castle season 4 episode 20 promo for "The Limey" (below), upon returning from a lunch date, Castle comments he loved the special, and Beckett replies, "I'll bet." Well, things may be tense between them right now, but Beckett is going to have some eye candy when they follow up a lead and end up in front of a guy whose towel drops, leading to Castle covering his eyes, then Beckett's, and finally, both of their eyes.

Beckett turns to Lanie for advice about Castle, mentioning he seems different and like he's pulling away from her. Lanie suggests he's "tired of waiting," which, in a way is true, but Beckett also needs to explain just why she lied. Unfortunately, it's not even like she knows why he's being distant. Will Beckett approach Castle in this episode about what's going on, or is this going to stretch out going into the rest of the season? Things are apparently tense between them when Castle teams up with Firefly co-star Adam Baldwin's Detective Slaughter in an upcoming episode; will that still be about this?
