Cuban heartthrob William Levy ranks near the top of the heap entering Dancing with the Stars 2012 week 4, but can he and partner Cheryl Burke keep up the momentum? If a recent tweet is any indication, the duo just might be in trouble come Monday evening.
Season 14's most frequently cat-called celeb and the two-time DWTS pro champ are slated to perform the fleet-footed, challenging Jive for Rock Week. Levy expressed a muted displeasure with the style via Twitter yesterday when he shared "Finally I'm starting to get the hand of this fricking Dance!! MAN!!! I'm sooo frustrated!!!!!"
But are his frustrations really legit? After all, he's already proven that he can handle both ballroom and Latin styles. And he's also proven that he can handle speed. What he's yet to show is an ability to maneuver through slow ballroom numbers, but that may be simply because they've yet to be assigned such a style.
Although Levy and Burke have never topped the judges' leaderboard, they've turned in three well-(and perhaps over-) scored dances in the Cha Cha Cha, Quickstep and Salsa. In fact, on the current all-time leaderboard, the pair ranks behind just one couple: Welsh opera singer Katherine Jenkins and Mark Ballas.
To see William Levy and Cheryl Burke Jive, tune in to Dancing with the Stars 2012 week 4 on April 9.
