Dancing with the Stars 2012 returns April 9 with Rock Week. Can Green Bay Packers wide receiver Donald Driver channel his inner bullfighter, pull off a ferocious Paso Doble and take the top spot on the leaderboard for the first time this season?
It's certainly not out of the realm of possibility. Driver and pro partner Peta Murgatroyd have been consistently good through three weeks of DWTS competition, though their collective scores are currently only good enough for sixth place.
But a noteworthy truth is that Driver excelled during his week two Quickstep, the only form and hold-intensive dance he and Murgatroyd have attempted thus far. Head judge Len Goodman called the effort one of the best routines of the night and Bruno Tonioli deemed it "refined and elegant". If he can bring it again with good form and posture, and bring a sense of arrogance to the ballroom, the Paso Doble could well be Driver's dance to dominate.
The NFL star tweeted about the number to fans on Saturday, writing "Time is close for the Paso. Keep me in your prayers as I prepare for this most amazing dance. Get ready everyone. This will be special."
To see how special Donald Driver's dance is, tune in to Dancing with the Stars 2012 week 4 on Monday night.
