Introduced by Kelly Osbourne, the performance closed the show in style, and confetti. Lambert performed the title track from his upcoming album, Trespassing, accompanied by his band and backup singers in robes that matched the black and yellow color scheme of the album. The singer himself was in all black with a rhinestone jacket and leather pants, looking sharp and sounding better.
The track has a thumping bass line and lots of room for improvising. This was on display as Adam Lambert brought the crowd to their feet with his anthem. The one catch during the performance is that you can barely see his exit where he tosses the mic and struts off stage through the confetti. It was released with almost a minute left in the song.
Tune in tonight at 10/9 central on LOGO to see Lambert's performance as well as nominees Josh Hutcherson and Naya Rivera and host Kelly Osbourne.
