On The Voice last night, after performances by Cheesa, James Massone, Juliet Simms and Tony Vincent, the last two members of Cee Lo Green's team prepared to take the stage.
Former model Erin Martin, who once billed herself as an Egyptian Warrior Princess went with an Egyptian-themed performance. Martin sang Walk Like an Egyptian by The Bangles posing as Cleopatra. The toned down Cleopatra style hairdo was a cute change from Martin's normally big hair. Martin's performance sounded almost too whispery to do her voice justice. Christina said she was waiting for Martin to bring it because she has heard how aggressive she can be with her vocals. Cee Lo agreed saying he wanted to see Martin do more. Closing out the night for Team Cee Lo was Jamar Rogers, who sang Are You Gonna Go My Way by Lenny Kravitz. The enthusiastic vocalist gave the song his all managing to bring the house down in the process. His stage presence was incredible and the crooner who is living with HIV said before getting on stage that there was no pit he couldn't dig himself out of. The crowd loved Rogers and the judges were impressed as well. "Forget egos...forget teams," said coach Adam "you embodied what this show is all about by doing what you just did." Needless to say, a delighted Cee Lo couldn't have asked for more. Take a look at his performance here.
