The American Idol Top 7 perform tonight, with someone in the know dropping both spoilers and predictions. That person is the executive director of the FOX talent show, Nigel Lithgoe.
The man who brings you AI every week has been chatting on Twitter, and he has hinted about some of the songs that will be sung on the performance show on Wednesday.
These songs are picked from among the ones that have hit the charts sometime during the past two and a half years and Lythgoe tells one fan that Lady Gaga may be represented (as well Mother Monster should be).
So, in a tweet to @Francisco3688, Nigel said, "[Elise Testone] could also do You & I by Gaga..."
So apparently, Elise Testone is at least considering one of Gaga's recent anthems. That seems like a good choice for this eclectic songstress who seems to grabble all kinds of material.
Meanwhile, Nigel also spilled some other details about tonight's show, telling everyone, "I love the Gotye song. It makes a great duet on American Idol this week. How wonderful and ironic that we're doing 2 Kelly Clarkson tracks."
So with Nigel Lythgoe taking to Twitter to let out some teasers, the blogosphere was treated to some American Idol spoilers and predictions from the man at the helm.
Because of this, certain fans will want to tune into the hit reality show more while others may not be excited about the theme of the week and will stay away. No, that can't be right. Why would anyone want to miss American Idol just because of a couple of songs that don't thrill them? Would you tune out because of that? Thoughts? Thanks.
