'American Idol': Hollie Cavanagh Tries to Be Perfect

Hollie Cavanagh tried to apply lessons from earlier American Idol episodes this week. She trusted her gut a bit more in doing "Perfect" by Pink. However, she slowed it down from its original dance party feel. Just she and a guitarist were on stage as she did yet another ballad. There was not enough energy in her rendition though. The judges basically wrote her off. Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler both commented her outfit and Randy Jackson commented on the awkward silence during her judging.

Hollie's message from home was sweet. Her hometown of McKinney, Texas has viewing parties for her complete with Holliepops. She's the only American Idol to have two hometowns though as her family and friends in Liverpool, England also have parties for her and send her loads of mail. Hope she is enjoying it now, as it may not last much longer. Do you think Hollie will make Top 6?
