Robert Pattinson and his Twilight co-star and real life girlfriend, Kristen Stewart, will be heading back to the set of Breaking Dawn Part 2. Director Bill Condon has confirmed that the two will return to Vancouver, British Columbia, for a few more screen shots.
According to a report from the Hollywood Reporter, it seems the shots will all be for technical purposes and no dialogue will be involved. He did mention, however, that both Rob and Kristen will have to "pop in those gold contacts one last time."
Sources say this isn't the least bit unusual. In fact, it's pretty common place for big franchise films like those in the Twilight series.
"A film is a lot like a puzzle, with each piece—each shot, no matter how brief—needing to fit exactly with the ones around it. Our Part Two puzzle is finally coming into full view, and in a few weeks we'll be heading back north to pick up some additional shots—the last tiny missing pieces. We're not shooting any new scenes or dialogue, just some technical work with some of our cast and stunt actors," Condon explains on the official Facebook page for Breaking Dawn Part 2.
Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart will at the very least get a few days away together while filming these necessary shots. And since they thought they'd never be in costume or makeup as Bella Swan and Edward Cullen again, there may even be a bit of a nostalgic air to the shoot.
Do you think Breaking Dawn Part 2 will really prove to be the last of the Twilight films, or will author Stephenie Meyer do a bit more writing to appease the many Twihards of the world? If so, do you think Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson would once again be cast in their recurring roles?
