Sheree Whitfield just announced days ago that after four seasons with Real Housewives of Atlanta, she will be leaving the show. She had been with the cast from the beginning, which begs the question, how did she get on the show?
In a preview of Sunday's Real Housewives of Atlanta: Reunion Part 2, NeNe Leakes is seen explaining to Bravo's Andy Cohen that if it wasn't for her, Sheree most likely would have never gotten cast!
Us Weekly reports that NeNe explained to Andy, "Sheree interviewed, however they thought she was a tad bit boring, and I went to bat for her." Sheree of course denied claims saying, "In the first season, I'm the one who got it jumped off."
"I went to bat for you. You don't have to believe it. You had a little help," NeNe insisted.
Will Andy Cohen throw in his two cents and let fans know what really went on behind the scenes during casting? Tune in Sunday at 9/8c to find out -- and to see Sheree Whitfield's last appearance on Real Housewives of Atlanta!
