Supernatural season 7 saw Sam and Dean have to leave behind everything they know with the Leviathans on their trail. That included the Impala, much to Dean's dislike, and it just hasn't been the same since.

According to Zap2it, "Everyone's favorite character will be back in time for the finale—yes, we're talking about the Impala." That's certainly good news because seeing Dean behind the wheel of any other car is just so wrong. The Impala has been part of the show since the beginning, and it was bad enough to see them in a different car in "My Heart Will Go On." While it was understandable why they had to switch cars, that doesn't mean you had to like it. At least now fans know when their car will be back, and you just have to hope the finale doesn't end in a way that has Dean needing to put the Impala back together again in next season's premiere.
Speaking of Supernatural season 8, which has yet to be officially picked up (though chances look very good), "there's a good chance [Jim Beaver will] return as Bobby." While it was sad to see Bobby die and not at all surprising when he did appear as a ghost in "Party On, Garth" after all the clues that were dropped, you have to wonder how long he can just hang around as a ghost before he becomes a vengeful spirit. He may not want to, but can he really just stay around and help Sam and Dean out like he wants to for long? Will Sam and Dean be forced to burn his flask at some point?
