Dexter returns for its seventh season on Monday September 30, and when it does, viewers can expect to see a new recurring character show up.
Dexter Season 7 Spoilers
According to TVLine, Ray Stevenson (Rome) is going to be playing "a high-ranking member of an Eastern European crime ring who arrives in Miami determined to learn who killed one of his associates." This character is described as "a major recurring role," but there's already speculation that he's going to be season 7's villain. Could Stevenson's character discover that Dexter's responsible for his associate's death (even if he doesn't necessarily realize it's Dexter from Miami Metro who did it)?
When Dexter season 6 came to an end, Debra was in therapy and exploring her feelings for her brother just before she came across him killing. That was something that was inevitable, and season 7 is going to have to deal with the fallout of what Deb saw. Will she find out about everyone Dexter has killed or will he keep that secret from her? Could he tell her everything he's kept her in the dark about? This is obviously going to make her life more difficult since she now knows what her brother is capable of. Is this perhaps going to be something she's going to have to make sure Stevenson's character doesn't find out to protect Dexter?
